Everardo Terán Gallegos
Everardo Terán Gallegos was born and raised in Mexico City. He comes from a family of Accountants (His father and his old-brother) who have their own practice in Mexico City, where Mr. Terán started his professional practice when he was 17.
Mr Terán studied Accounting at the “Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (I.T.A.M.)” in Mexico City, where he graduated and earned his Public Accountant Degree in 1993. Mr. Terán is a Licensed Public Accountant authorized to work in all 32 states.
During and after his accounting studies, Mr. Terán worked for four years in “Price Waterhouse”, at their Main Office in Mexico City, where he specialized principally in the following areas:
a) Elaboration of Financial Statements in accordance with Mexican and International Financial Accounting Standards,
b) Financial & Operating Auditing.
c) Elaboration of Financial Statements for Tax Purposes and the respective Report (“Dictamen”) for Mexican Federal Government.
d) Federal and Local Taxes,
e) Social Security.
In 1994 Mr. Terán obtained his registry as a Member of the “Colegio de Contadores Públicos de México”
During his last year with Price Waterhouse, Mr. Terán worked as Senior Auditor in review of different companies including: Grupo Crown Cork de Mexico, Grupo Gutsa, Carrier Transicold de Mexico and Grupo Elektra.
During 1996 Mr. Terán started and earned a “Business Reengineering Diploma Degree” at the I.T.A.M.
From 1996 to 2001 Mr. Terán worked for “Gutsa Construcciones, SA de CV”, one of the biggest Construction Companies in Mexico, as Administrative and Accounting Manager. During this time Mr. Terán increase his knowledge in Construction Operations and Administrative Topics.
In 2000, Mr. Terán started earned a “Federal Taxes Diploma Degree” at the I.T.A.M.
In 2001 he started to work with Connell & Associates, opening the “Accounting and Tax Services” department in the Ixtapa/Zihuatanejo office.
