Ana Lilia Lozano Abazan
was born in Acapulco and graduated with a law degree from the
Universidad Loyola del Pacífico, S.A., located in Acapulco,
State of Guerrero. In 2000, she became a fully certified attorney.
She currently works as an Associate in the Ixtapa/Zihuatanejo
office of the firm, and is bilingual in Spanish and English.
Her areas of specialization
include real estate law, foreign investment law, agrarian law,
immigration law, civil law, patent and brands, corporate law
and contracts, and alternative conflict resolution.
She worked for the State
Office of the "Comisión Nacional Bancaria y de Valores"
(National Bank and Stock Commission) and for the Comisión
Nacional para la Defensa de los Usuarios de Servicios Financieros
(National Commission for the Defense Financial Service Users),
acquiring experience in the existing procedures for conflict
resolution between Banks and Insurance Companies and financial
service users in Mexico.
She also was an associate
in the law firm "Palazuelos & Associates" in Acapulco,
Guerrero, dealing with civil, commercial, administrative, family,
trademark, patents and financial areas.
Ms. Lozano´s thesis
paper to become a Mexican attorney was focused on alternative
conflict resolution. Following the completion of her law studies,
she helped establish the first Alternative Conflict Resolution
Center in the state of Guerrero, CESOSUR, S.C., and acquiring
experience in the areas of Negotiation, Conciliation and Mediation
